ClimateCare Co-operative is proud to announce a major milestone in its growth: the addition of its first-ever Discovery Program Participants outside Ontario. This expansion marks an important step forward for the co-operative as it continues to build a truly national network of independent HVAC contractors.
New Members Join the ClimateCare Network
ClimateCare has welcomed Tradewinds Eco Energy and Cross Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. as new Discovery Program Participants.
The addition of Cross Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. strengthens ClimateCare’s presence in the extended Greater Toronto Area, with branches serving Waterloo, Listowel, and Hanover. Founded in 1987 by Brad Cross, the company brings decades of experience and continues to operate under his leadership as president.
Tradewinds Eco Energy represents a significant geographic expansion for the co-operative. Operating across much of Atlantic Canada, Tradewinds has offices near Moncton, as well as in Fredericton, Pont-Landry, and Charlottetown, PEI. This marks the first time a Discovery Program Participant has joined ClimateCare from outside Ontario.
Welcoming Service Across Atlantic Canada
In parallel with welcoming new members, ClimateCare has entered into a distribution agreement with Kerr Smart Energy. This agreement supports ClimateCare’s commitment to serving both existing and prospective customers throughout Atlantic Canada, while staying true to its core principle of being locally focused.
Executive Director Victor Hyman commented on the significance of this milestone:
“The addition of our first new member and first new distributor in Atlantic Canada marks a truly pivotal moment for our organization. It is far more than just a step—it is the strategic launchpad for our national expansion strategy. This achievement underscores the widespread confidence in our vision and, critically, demonstrates our capability to execute a scalable plan for growth.”
Discovery Program Members Advance to Enterprise Status
Alongside this expansion, ClimateCare is also recognizing the growth of long-standing members. Waza Home Comfort in Whitby, Ontario and Absolute Comfort Control Services in Windsor, Ontario, have successfully completed the Discovery Program and have transitioned to Enterprise members of the co-operative.
President Rob Lake highlighted the importance of this progression:
“The addition of new members after a one-year trial in the Discovery program, as well as the expansion with new participants outside Ontario, truly shows that contractors and business owners see tremendous value in the offerings of ClimateCare and are committed to staying on the leading edge of business trends that drive value to customers.”
